Social Media Analytics With Klout
Klout.com is a site that offers lightweight social media analytical data on your social media usage. It basically tracks your “likes”, followers, friends and more on facebook, twitter and linkedin (they are adding google+ at the time of this article). I heard about Klout sometime ago but was reminded when Ben Kinney of Keller Williams did a video on it and had people buzzing about it at the office. Many of these real estate agents thought Klout was some new social network.
So I decided to do my own video to go over what Klout is and is not. (Click “Read More” to see the video)

Ok, so you’ve got your domain and you have it hosted, but now it’s the moment of trust and it’s time to actually install wordpress. Thankfully, it’s a lot easier than it would sound. Many hosts have an “ez” button for for you to do this.
Below is the video on how HostGator does it or rather any “host” that is using CPANEL.

First off we’re please to say that we have a Everything You Need To Know About WordPress Course that is free (we do want your e-mail) but it will give you access to our video library and a place to post private comments, etc.
The next 10 people that join the newsletter (to the right!) will immediately be given access to the beta (Installing WordPress) launch of this training program. Some of the videos will be free and posted on this site while others will be only for subscribers.

Setting Up WordPress From Start to Finish: Step 1 – Domain Name Registration
It’s most common question and the most often over-charged for item by “gurus” and web guys alike. The truth is, setting up worpress takes less than 15 minutes and it’s not all that technical. The goal is to teach you how to do this on your own.
First things first, Domain Name
If you read our post about finding niche markets then you have some idea of where you are in the process. Now it’s time to step up and name your product, service and make it a site. Get a domain name. Your first step is to head over to GoDaddy (aff – $7.49 Special) and get your domain. There’s a lot to “buy” here but no need to sign up for anything but the domain name.
Tune in next time when we get to hosting!
