This week Google released their new Algorithm. It bascially checks the kind of content you have and decides if it’s legitimate or not. I could go into the really cool details of what it’s looking for but chances are if you actually into that kind of stuff, you wouldn’t be reading this blog. So what does the new algorithm do.
Basically it penalized all of those article sites that supposedly have great content and are certainly not overwhelmed with just keyword rich junk. This means, Hubpages, EzineArticles, AssociatedContent and other “content farms” got penalized. In fact, 10% of the search results are effected. Some say this was a direct attack on Yahoo.
There’s very little to be concerned with if you are putting out original content. Yes, you can still target keywords, but you can’t farm or aggregate content like you could.

5 by Dan Zadra is one of those coffee table books that is simply more than a coffee table book. At a glance it’s a wonderfully designed book with typography and design elements unmatched by another book gracing your coffee or end table. However, at it’s core, 5 is a collection of almost every life improving cliche you could think of. This isn’t a bad thing, most life improving sayings are actually good. Living in today is excellent advice. I make no qualms about my Christianity and several of the pages contain indirect references that could be straight out of the book of wisdom from the Bible (Proverbs). You’ll have to watch the video to see whether I recommend 5 or not.

It’s most common question and the most often over-charged for item by “gurus” and web guys alike. The truth is, setting up worpress takes less than 15 minutes and it’s not all that technical. The goal is to teach you how to do this on your own.
First things first, Domain Name
If you read our post about finding niche markets then you have some idea of where you are in the process. Now it’s time to step up and name your product, service and make it a site. Get a domain name. Your first step is to head over to GoDaddy (aff – $7.49 Special) and get your domain. There’s a lot to “buy” here but no need to sign up for anything but the domain name.
